Why are people so embarrassed to talk about incontinence?

In a society that is obsessed with youth, the major concern expressed by women with a sensitive bladder is that the condition 'ages' them and that it is viewed by society as only a problem for older people. This is a myth, light adult incontinence affects women of all ages. The results of a recent Always Envive survey indicate that 1 in 3 women over the age of 30 will have it at some point in their lives - that is as many as 6 million women at any one time. But the good news is that you don't have to live with the problem: the vast majority of women affected can overcome it by taking simple steps day-to-day.
